Oldham 0-2 Wycombe

Oldham crashed to their second home defeat of the season as Wycombe grabbed a victory to earn their first away win.

The writing was on the wall as early as the fifth minute when the visitors took the lead.

Dannie Bulman pounced on a poor defensive clearance by Julien Baudet, before firing a 20-yard shot under the diving body of goalkeeper Les Pogliacomi.

The home side had the ball in the net in the 12th minute, but Chris Killen's effort was ruled out for offside.

Killen was again out of luck four minutes later when denied by a fine one-handed save from Wycombe goalkeeper Frank Talia.

Wanderers finally put the game beyond reach five minutes from the end when substitute Richard Harris turned superbly 14 yards out to smash home the second goal.

Oldham: Pogliacomi, Clegg, Baudet, Hill, Beharall, Appleby, Low, Eyres, Da Silva, Wijnhard, Killen. Subs: John Sheridan, Andrews, Corazzin, Carss, Miskelly.

Wycombe: Talia, Senda, Johnson, McCarthy, Vinnicombe, Simpson, Currie, Bulman, Faulconbridge, Devine, Rammell. Subs: Thomson, Harris, Roberts, Rogers, Brown.

Referee: A Kaye (W Yorkshire).
