A double strike by Kevin Gallen inflicted a third defeat on Peterborough as QPR cruised to an easy victory at Loftus Road.

Posh had their chances to take the lead in the first half with Francis Green and Andy Clarke going close, but Rangers took full advantage of the misses after the break.

Gallen opened the scoring after 58 minutes, steering the ball into the net after good work from Ebeli Doudou, and with 20 minutes remaining the forward secured the three points with a cool chip.

Gallen had three more chances as QPR dominated but he was unable to add to his tally.
