Northampton striker Jamie Forrester scored a deserved equaliser in an entertaining game at Wycombe.

A slick, hard-working Northampton overwhelmed the home side in the early exchanges but Paul Harsley and striker Christian Hargreaves were unable to break the deadlock.

And it was Wycombe who opened the scoring in the 48th minute when Darren Currie's inswinging 30-yard free-kick beat everyone.

They held the lead for 20 minutes before former Leeds and Scunthorpe striker Forrester took advantage of some poor defending to score from close range.
