Plymouth Argyle skipper Paul Wotton marked his 200th league appearance with a 35-yard free-kick winner in stoppage time against Huddersfield.

Wotton drilled the ball low and hard past Terriers goalkeeper Scott Bevan after the free-kick was moved 10 yards forward because substitute John Worthington kicked the ball away.

Plymouth had taken the lead against the run of play in the 57th minute.

Brian McGlinchey fired a free-kick to the far post where it was headed back across the face of goal and converted at the far post by midfielder David Friio.

Huddersfield equalised in the 89th minute when Kevin Sharpe's deep ball in from the touchline eluded home goalkeeper Romain Larrieu and was hammered in at the far post by John Thorrington.
