Swindon 1-1 Wycombe

Swindon's player-of-the-year Matt Heywood's second-half strike earned the Robins a score draw at the County Ground.

The visitors had taken the lead just a minute before half-time when Wycombe's Sean Devine cashed in on some sloppy defending to tap home from close range.

Swindon's French striker Eric Sabin had wasted a golden chance just moments earlier when he shot straight at Martin Taylor in the away goal.

But Heywood levelled after 56 minutes with a fine header from Paul McArevey's corner to leave Taylor helpless.

Then Andy Thomson's swirling cross almost caught out Swindon goalkeeper Bart Griemink when it hit the top of his crossbar.

But both sides held on for a point and middle table obscurity.

Swindon: Griemink, Gurney, Heywood, Reeves, McAreavey, Duke, Nathan Edwards, Hewlett, Paul Edwards, Sabin, Young. Subs: Farr, Howe, Robinson, Thomas, Herring.

Wycombe: Taylor, Vinnicombe, McCarthy, Thomson, Harris, Currie, Bulman, Simpson, Rammell, Senda, Devine.Subs: Roberts, Rogers, Townsend, Holligan, Osborn.
