Julien Baudet's first goal in English football saw off QPR and gave Oldham only their second win in nine games.

The Frenchman struck in the 10th minute when he hammered the ball home from a long throw-in by defender Fitz Hall.

Rangers almost equalised three minutes later but full-back Chris Armstrong kicked Terrell Forbes' effort off the line.

But Oldham came back and twice let Rangers off the hook when Canada international Carlo Corazzin put two free headers wide.

Despite the glaring misses, Oldham were good value for their victory which brought an end to Rangers' five-match unbeaten run.
