Brighton gain promotion
Brighton have been promoted to the First Division following Reading's 2-2 draw with Tranmere.

The result leaves the Seagulls four points ahead of second-placed Reading and five in front of Brentford, who are third, with only two games remaining.

As Brentford and Reading face each other in their final game of the season and only two sides are automatically promoted, Brighton will definitely be playing First Division football next season.

If Peter Taylor's side beat Swindon at home on Saturday, they will clinch the title.
