Alan Young notched a second-half winner for Swindon as they edged a tense battle with Blackpool.

Blackpool made an encouraging start and Scott Taylor missed a gilt-edged opportunity early in the game.

But Swindon's Danny Invincible also missed from close range when he headed an effort over the crossbar.

The hosts dominated the first half and deservedly went ahead just after the break when Invincible crossed from the right and Young fired home from short range.

And Matt Heywood spurned a chance to put the home side two up when he headed narrowly over from Bobby Howe's right-wing cross.
