Play-off hopefuls Wycombe still have games in hand on most of their promotion rivals, but suffered a shock home defeat to Blackpool at Adams Park.

The Seasiders earned their fifth away victory of the season thanks to goals from Richard Walker (2), Scott Taylor and John Murphy.

Substitute Jermaine McSporran scored for the home side in the 82nd minute but it proved a consolation effort.

Taylor opened the scoring with his ninth of the season in the 20th minute before Walker extended their lead four minutes later.

Walker added a third in the second half and, after McSporran had reduced the deficit, killed the game off with his 10th of the campaign.

Wycombe: Taylor, Senda, Rogers, Vinnicombe, Ryan, Currie, Bulman, Simpson, Roberts, Holligan, Devine. Subs: Emblen, McSporran, Townsend, Lee, Brown.

Blackpool: Barnes, O'Kane, Reid, Marshall, Hills, Jaszczun, Wellens, Collins, Taylor, John Murphy, Walker. Subs: Simpson, Pullen, Fenton, Bullock, Day.

Referee: L Cable (Woking).
