Wigan picked up their first win in five games, with four headed goals from corners securing a 4-0 win over Cardiff.

Lee McCulloch grabbed the first after only two minutes before Canada captain Jason De Vos headed home the second after Arjan De Zeeuw had flicked on Peter Kennedy's corner.

De Vos added a second with a powerful header after 52 minutes and then he nodded on another Kennedy corner for De Zeeuw to complete the Bluebirds' misery on 64 minutes.

Wigan goalkeeper John Filan pulled off three outstanding saves to deny Alan Cork's side a consolation goal.
