Brentford maintained their promotion hopes with victory over Cardiff at Griffin Park.

The Bluebirds dominated the first half and took a deserved interval lead when Jason Bowen headed home a Graham Kavanagh free-kick after 19 minutes.

The Bees totally dominated after the break and equalised when Stephen Hunt fired home from 15 yards after 54 minutes.

The winner came 12 minutes from time when Ben Burgess scored from 12 yards.

In an entertaining encounter, Michael Dobson and Ben Burgess were yellow-carded for the home side and Graham Kavanagh for the visitors.
