Two goals from Robert Earnshaw gave Cardiff a share of the points at Ninian Park in a 2-2 draw with promotion rivals Reading.

Earnshaw twice gave the Bluebirds the lead only for the visitors to battle back both times to equalise.

Earnshaw netted in the 29th minute when he cut inside and fired the ball home at the near post, but Nicky Forster levelled 10 minutes after the break.

Striker Earnshaw regained the lead for City midway through the second half when he tapped home Paul Brayson's cross for his 12th goal of the season.

On-loan striker John Salako secured a point for Reading with 12 minutes left as he netted his second goal in successive games.

Cardiff's Gavin Gordon was carried off on a stretcher in the 84th minute with his neck in a brace.
