Andy Booth's late winner clinched victory for Huddersfield against Cambridge to stretch Town's unbeaten run to nine matches.

The Terriers looked to be heading for a shock defeat after Shane Tudor turned in Tom Youngs' cross in the 32nd minute.

Cambridge were reduced to 10-men for the second successive weekend when Stevland Angus was shown his second yellow card for flattening Leon Knight.

Huddersfield wasted a string of chances but with 14 minutes left, substitute Chris Hay pulled a goal back with a simple tap-in at the far post.

Goalkeeper Lionel Perez then pulled off a fantastic one-handed save to keep out Dwayne Mattis' diving header

Huddersfield: Margetson, Jenkins, Gray, Clarke, Heary, Schofield, Mattis, Irons, Holland, Booth, Knight. Subs: Phillip Senior, Moses, Dyson, Macari, Hay.

Cambridge Utd: Perez, Tann, Duncan, Angus, Guttridge, Wanless, Tudor, Ashbee, Warner, Youngs, Kitson. Subs: Walling, Fleming, Marshall, Revell, One.

Referee: R Furnandiz (Doncaster).
