Bury 0-2 Brighton
E-mail your reaction to Football Talk Brighton hot-shot Bobby Zamora scored his eighth goal in as many matches as the league leaders cruised to a 2-0 win at Bury. The striker, who has scored 17 goals this season and is being watched by a host of Premiership clubs, pounced in the 61st minute. He outpaced defender Michael Nelson before chipping goalkeeper Glynn Garner from 30 yards. That added to Paul Brooker's first-half strike, the winger scoring after 18 minutes after Steve Redmond had cleared his first shot off the line. Bury never looked like causing an upset as Peter Taylor's team showed why they are unbeaten in 12 matches. The closest the home side came was a free-kick from substitute George Clegg which rattled the crossbar late on.
Bury: Garner, Unsworth, Redmond, Swailes, Nelson, Jarrett, Reid, Singh, Stuart, Seddon, Newby. Subs: Hill, Connell, Borley, Clegg, Lawson. Brighton: Kuipers, Watson, Cullip, Morgan, Mayo, Brooker, Oatway, Carpenter, Jones, Hart, Zamora. Subs: Rogers, Lehmann, Melton, Virgo, Pethick. Referee: M Messias (York).
