Peterborough came from two goals down to triumph in an entertaining clash with Blackpool. The visitors had enjoyed much the better of the early exchanges and found themselves 2-0 ahead after just 16 minutes. John O'Kane and John Murphy were both on target with headers. Posh boss Barry Fry changed to three up front with the introduction of star striker Leon McKenzie. The former Crystal Palace man proved his worth with a finely-taken goal nine minutes before the break. Tom Williams, whose had struck the post with a free-kick, got Posh back on level terms with a well worked set piece on the edge of the area. McKenzie then stole the points with a fine header in injury time.
Peterborough: Tyler, Rea, Joseph, Edwards, Williams, Danielsson, Bullard, Forsyth, Farrell, Fenn, Clarke. Subs: Connor, McKenzie, Jelleyman, Shields, Hooper. Blackpool: Pullen, Coid, Parkinson, Reid, Caldwell, O'Kane, Simpson, Bullock, Jamie Milligan, John Murphy, Ormerod. Subs: Barnes, Mike Milligan, Thompson, MacKenzie, Burns. Referee: W Jordan (Tring).
