Wycombe 3-1 Port Vale
Wycombe overwhelmed Port Vale with an awesome first-half goal rush as they cruised to a home victory.
On-loan striker Richard Walker struck twice and Andy Rammell scored with a powerful header, with the visitors' consolation coming from Chris Killen's second-half strike. Wycombe took the lead in the eighth minute when Darren Currie's cross fell perfectly for Walker to head in at the far post. And when the Vale defence failed to clear Wycombe's fourth corner of the game three minutes later, Rammell headed in the loose ball. Vale's Simon Osborn hit the post a minute later but Walker took advantage of poor goalkeeping to force Danny Senda's cross over the line after 14 minutes. Early second-half pressure from the visitors brought its reward when Killen beat Martin Taylor to score his second goal of the season.
