Oldham 4-1 Notts County
Oldham stretched their unbeaten home run to six games with a 4-1 win over Notts County that sent them back to the top of the table.
Andy Ritchie's side, who had put four past struggling Bury in midweek, went in front thanks to a 19th-minute own goal by County's Nicky Fenton. Oldham went 2-0 up two minutes later when former County player Craig Dudley got his first of the season. The visitors threatened to get back into the game when Mark Stallard found the target in the 62nd minute. But Oldham, the Second Division's top scorers, hit the visitors with a devastating late brace. Substitute John Eyre grabbed Oldham's third in the 83rd minute and won a last-minute penalty when he was up-ended in the box by Ian Richardson. Canadian international Carlo Corazzin made no mistake with the spot-kick to wrap up another convincing victory for the Latics.
