Northampton 1-1 Swindon
Skipper Roy Hunter's second goal in as many games earned struggling Northampton a deserved point in a 1-1 draw with Swindon.

The Cobblers, who parted company with manager Kevin Wilson in midweek, looked to be heading for their ninth defeat of the season after Guiliano Grazioli chipped Swindon into a 48th-minute lead.

Northampton were denied a penalty on the hour when Jamie Forrester was sent tumbling but five minutes later Hunter headed home a cross from substitute John Hodge.

Only two superb saves from Bart Griemink denied Cobblers a late victory as he kept out efforts from Forrester and Ian Evatt.

Northampton: Welch, Spedding, Dempsey, Evatt, Hope, McGregor, Hunter, Hunt, Carruthers, Burgess, Forrester. Subs: Sollitt, Wolleaston, Hodge, Parkin, Asamoah.

Swindon: Griemink, Steve Robinson, Gurney, Reeves, Heywood, Hewlett, Howe, Duke, Edwards, Invincible, Grazioli. Subs: McKinney, Osei-Kuffour, Ruddock, Brayley, Davies.

Referee: G Cain (Bootle)
