QPR 4-1 Port Vale
Andy Thomson grabbed a second-half hat-trick as QPR came from a goal behind to beat Port Vale and claim their first win in six games.

Vale had taken the lead on 55 minutes when former QPR man Simon Osborne threaded through a pass for Stephen Brooker to slot home.

But the Hoops levelled after 64 minutes when Paul Bruce's corner was knocked back in to Steve Palmer and he side-footed in from close range.

Manager Ian Holloway's home side went ahead eight minutes later.

Clever flick

Terrell Forbes turned defence into attack with a 60-yard run before crossing for Thomson to slot in.

And two minutes later the points were sealed when Leroy Griffiths was pulled down by Mark Goodlad.

Goodlad received his marching orders before Thomson grabbed his second from the spot.

In the last minute Thomson completed his hat-trick when he got on the end of Griffiths' clever flick to score from close range.
