Wrexham 1-1 Notts County
Wrexham had to make do with just a point from a 1-1 home draw to Notts County in which they could understandably feel they were robbed of all three.

Craig Faulconbridge's 61st-minute header crashed against the back stanchion of the goal and rebounded back into play and the linesman on the far side ruled the ball had not gone into the net.

Referee David Laws was surrounded by irate Wrexham players but after consulting the linesman he upheld the decision.

County took the lead through former England midfielder Geoff Thomas in the 25th minute but four minutes later Danny Williams cracked in a low shot and from then on Wrexham had most of the play.

The Magpies were dangerous on the break but in the end this was a game that Wrexham should have won.

Wrexham: Dearden, Roche, Carey, McGregor, Hardy, Gibson, Williams, Ferguson, Russell, Morrell, Trundle. Subs: Chalk, Faulconbridge, Thomas, Walsh, Pejic.

Notts County: Ward, Jorgensen, Calderwood, Ireland, Richardson, Brough, Owers, Thomas, Nicholson, Allsopp, Farrell. Subs: Gibson, Moreau, Andrew McDermott, Hughes, Liburd.

Referee: D Laws (Whitley Bay)
