Reading 3-4 Millwall
A hat-trick from Neil Harris kept Millwall at the top of the Second Division with a 4-3 win, despite a spirited Reading fightback.

Harris scored after 16 and 23 minutes as Millwall over-ran Reading in the first half.

Former Millwall defender, Ricky Newman, then headed into his own net for the Londoners' third.

Harris took his season's goal tally to 21 from the penalty spot after being fouled by John Mackie.

Reading substitute, Sammy Igoe, headed his side's first goal mid-way through the second half, then Darren Caskey added a second from the penalty spot, fifteen minutes from the end.

But Reading ran out of time as striker, Jamie Cureton, popped home their third with what proved to be the final kick of a thrilling game.

Reading: Whitehead, Robinson, Newman, Hunter, Mackie, Caskey, Hodges, Parkinson, Neil Smith, Butler, Cureton. Subs: Murty, Igoe, Jones, Howie, Rougier.

Millwall: Warner, Lawrence, Ryan, Dolan, Dyche, Ifill, Cahill, Livermore, Kinet, Harris, Moody. Subs: Gueret, Neill, Nethercott, Reid, Sadlier.

Referee: M Dean (The Wirral)
