Leeds extended their unbeaten league run to five matches with a 2-0 victory over Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
The home side came close to scoring but Martyn Woolford headed Jamie McAllister's cross over the bar.
Robert Snodgrass put Leeds ahead when he collected Max Gradel's pass before turning to shoot beyond Bristol City keeper David James.
And Gradel made it two for the visitors in the second period when he dispatched Snodgrass's deflected shot past James.
The Robins made a bright start to the match and fashioned the first meaningful chance of the game only for Woolford to head over.
Leeds were soon off the mark though when Snodgrass combined well with Gradel before finding himself space to slip the ball past James.
The visitors immediately went in search of a second and the impressive Snodgrass left fly with a 25-yard shot but James tipped the ball round the post.
The home side eventually found their rhythm but Louis Carey fired over from 20 yards, and with half time approaching, Marvin Elliott had a sight of goal but could not direct his shot on target.
Bristol City continued to attack in the second half with Woolford and Brett Pitman both firing wide.
But Leeds delivered the sucker punch when Snodgrass's shot was deflected into the path of Gradel who swivelled and finished well past James.
A minute later Snodgrass found Bradley Johnson with a pinpoint cross but he headed over.
The Robins pressed on regardless and Andrew Keogh came close from six yards out but Andy O'Brien made a good block.
At the other end, Jonathan Howson played in Gradel but he fired over with James scrambling.
Yet Leeds had Kasper Schmeichel and the bar to thank for keeping their two-goal lead intact, the keeper making a good reaction save from David Clarkson before Albert Adomah and Elliott both hit the bar.
Woolford then had a shot blocked by Alex Bruce late-on, but Leeds saw the game out.
