Murray back in action

QPR midfielder Paul Murray is back in first-team contention
Queens Park Rangers midfielder Paul Murray has returned to competitive action following an absence over over two months with a broken ankle.

The former England Under-21 international came through a reserve game against Cambridge United unscathed, after playing for an hour of the match.

Murray had not played since suffering his injury in a pre-season friendly at Brentford in July, but could be back in first team action in a fortnight.

The 24-year-old is currently on a week-to-week contract at Loftus Road, and will be desperate for the chance to put himself back in the picture at the club.
