Brendan Rodgers and Dave Jones prepare for the 59th south Wales derby
Sunday's eagerly anticipated derby between south Wales' Championship high-fliers Cardiff and Swansea has got the juices flowing at both clubs.
"Everyone at the club's looking forward to it, there's a good feel factor," Cardiff boss Dave Jones has told Friday's Sport Wales television show.
Jones was interviewed alongside Swansea counterpart Brendan Rodgers, who is facing his first south Wales derby.
"I've watched the last few games, they have been just fantastic," he said.
"You can gauge even from the television the intensity and rivalry.
"It's obviously my first derby and I'm really looking forward to it."
Ahead of the Cardiff City Stadium game Swansea lie third in the Championship with Cardiff top as both clubs chase the multi-million pound, life-changing dream of Premier League football.
"Both teams have started the season very, very well, that's great for south Wales and it puts that bit more on the game," said Rodgers.
"But it's not a game that's going to define where we are at the end of the season.
"[The derby is] fantastic for the fans, but as a team and manager you have to prepare just like any other game."
Jones echoed the view of his managerial rival, stating: "It's the same preparation as for any other game.
"You look at the team you are playing against, try to nullify their strengths and play to your own.
"As a player I never enjoyed derbies, they're so intense and you don't want to make a mistake derbies are always tough, always difficult.
"But everyone wants to play, you can see in training that the tempo is up, everyone's enjoying the time.
"Whatever team I pick they'll all go out and do their best. We will hopefully have a fantastic game of football and come up with the points."
