Teenage winger Kieron Cadogan scored on his Crystal Palace debut to earn them a point at home against Coventry.
Aron Gunnarsson had an early shot blocked for the visitors before he put them ahead, the midfielder powerfully heading home Isaac Osbourne's cross.
Palace hit back and Clinton Morrison blocked Neil Danns' shot, before Kieran Westwood saved from Anthony Stokes.
Gunnarsson then fluffed two chances and Cadogan made him pay by skipping past Westwood and rolling into the net.
Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock on Kieron Cadogan: "I'm ever so pleased for him, he's done really well over the last four or five weeks.
"He was brilliant in pre-season, so I offered him a contract and then he broke his leg.
"He's one of a group of young players and it's nice to blood them now. That freshness is there from them."
Coventry boss Chris Coleman: "If we had got the second goal then we could have got the third and fourth.
"We were the team pushing to win the game, but they didn't have to work hard for their goal.
"Ben made a mistake and it cost us two points but his performance tonight did not deserve that."
