Barnsley 1-1 Nottm Forest

Barnsley winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce missed a penalty as Nottingham Forest fought back to deny their fellow strugglers and secure a priceless draw.

Campbell-Ryce headed the Tykes ahead from six yards seconds after the break.

But he missed from the spot just before the hour, shooting tamely at Forest keeper Iain Turner after Wes Morgan fouled Andranik Teymourian.

And Robert Earnshaw, who also hit the bar, made the home side pay, rifling in a fine low shot from 10 yards.

Barnsley boss Simon Davey on Billy Davies' pre-match comments:

"What he said was bordering on bringing the game into disrepute. We are very upset at the way things have happened.

"He's asked his players to emulate a player (Chris Morgan) that has come here and put one of my players (Iain Hume) in hospital and has been out for the season.

"For me, it's very unprofessional for a manager to do something like that."

Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies:

"I was asked a question about the type of people coming to this club and I said it's the likes of Chris Lucketti and Chris Morgan - their type of mentality and experience - that you need at this level.

"For anybody to make a suggestion that I was referring to anything else is the most small-minded thing I've ever seen in my life and I can't believe it.

"I was referring to Lucketti and Morgan-type players. I can't believe that somebody would suggest I was trying to stoke the flames."
