Blackpool 2-3 Doncaster

James Coppinger's strike midway through the second half gave Doncaster a boost to their survival hopes in a thrilling match against 10-man Blackpool.

David Vaughan's opener from distance was cancelled out by another long-range strike from Doncaster's Brian Stock.

Sam Hird put the visitors in front from six yards, but Blackpool were level a minute later through DJ Campbell.

However, Coppinger swept home from 18 yards to win it before Blackpool's Charlie Adam was sent off late on.

Blackpool boss Tony Parkes:
"You don't concede three at home and really expect to win.

"When DJ Campbell grabbed that second goal for us I thought we were in with a shout, but Rovers came back again.

"Last week we defended heroically at Palace, but this week we left holes at the back and Doncaster exploited them."

Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll:
"It was an exciting game between two well matched sides. I thought we did really well to come back from being 1-0 down.

"Our finishing was particularly good and that was our fourth away win in the league on the trot. You can't do that unless you finish well."
