Relegated Reading start at Forest

The Premier League, Football League, Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League fixtures are out on Monday

Reading face a tough start to life outside the top flight after they were handed a trip to Nottingham Forest on the first day of the 2008/09 season.

Also in the Championship, Swansea go to Charlton and Derby host Doncaster.

Birmingham face Sheffield United, QPR are at home to Barnsley and Bristol City travel to Blackpool.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace host Watford, Cardiff play Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday play Burnley, Coventry host Norwich and Preston travel to Ipswich.
