Wolves secured a win over promotion hopefuls Crystal Palace with goals from Michael Gray and Kevin Kyle.
The first-half ended goalless and the game seemed set for a draw until Michael gray broke the deadlock with 14 minutes remaining.
Gray opened the scoring when he curled an 18-yard effort into the top corner.
Wolves keeper Wayne Hennessey was taken off injured late on before Kyle belted in a 25-yard strike to make sure of the points for the visitors.
Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock:
"We were not good enough. We have seen it all before here and we did not have enough guile up front from start to finish.
"I think the fans have seen that performance quite a few times this year.
"We have got to look to change things as much as we can and just see if there is anything in the locker room that we have not seen yet while we look for players."
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy on Kevin Kyle:
"I'm really thrilled for Kevin because there were a few boos about the place last week.
"It means so much to a player to come to a club, do well and be accepted. He's got ability and his volley shows it.
"It doesn't vindicate my decision to sign him on loan from Coventry. I made that based on what he could bring to the club."
