Paul Dickov was the star of the show as Blackpool dealt Charlton's automatic promotion hopes a blow in fine style.
Steve McPhee made it 1-0 after Wes Hoolahan's shot was parried by Nicky Weaver and Kaspars Gorkss volleyed in after Dickov's shot was superbly saved.
Darren Ambrose fired home from Grant Basey's cross and levelled soon after.
But Gary Taylor-Fletcher netted twice, the second a fine lob, either side of a Dickov strike, and though Jon Fortune bundled in, Charlton were well beaten.
Blackpool manager Simon Grayson on Paul Dickov:
"He's proving to be a good loan signing. His work-rate, his all-round contribution is superb and he's also getting on the scoresheet.
"He's known as a pest throughout football and he's living up to that reputation.
"The lads look up to him and we're delighted to have him here."
Charlton boss Alan Pardew:
"They were really bad goals on our part and the back four just did not function. We made individual errors.
"This is a dent and a blow to our promotion hopes. Now we're playing catch-up and it's going to be very difficult for us.
"I expected a lot more from certain individuals. There are no excuses because the bottom line is that Blackpool were the better team."
