Two second half goals saw Ipswich enhance their promotion credentials with victory at home to Blackpool.
Alan Lee's 20-yard shot hit the bar as Ipswich controlled the first half, but the breakthrough came after the interval thanks to Velice Sumulikoski.
The Macedonian hit an unstoppable shot from 16 yards and Jonathan Walters doubled their lead with his 12th goal of the season soon after.
Paul Dickov beat the offside trap to score a late consolation for Blackpool.
Ipswich manager Jim Magilton on new midfielder Velice Sumulikoski:
"It was a great strike from Velice. He has brought us composure, experience and knowledge in a very important area of the pitch and he has definitely got goals in him.
"He arrives on the edge of the box and if he continues hitting them like that they will keep going in."
Blackpool boss Simon Grayson on the injuries to central defenders Ian Evatt and Michael Jackson:
"It was always going to be difficult before that happened because Ipswich are a very good team with a great record at Portman Road.
"But to lose two experienced players, the spine of your team, so early on meant our plan went out the window.
"Keith Southern and Shaun Barker battled manfully in their place but, overall, we were taught a footballing lesson."
