Wolves, who lost to Hull on Wednesday, took the lead thanks to defender Kevin Foleys' powerful run and shot.
The home side doubled their lead in the 34th minute when Andy Keogh ran from the centre circle before striking the ball low into the bottom-left corner.
Just past the hour Jason Shackell was sent off for a dangerous tackle and Norwich then lost Julian Brellier, who was red-carded after a second booking.
Norwich boss Peter Grant:
"This was probably the worst performance I have had as manager.
"We deserved to be criticised for that performance. It was as tough an
afternoon as you are likely to get.
"The only pleasing thing was that it was only a 2-0 defeat because it could
have been much more."
