Chris Martin marked his full home debut with his first league goal for Norwich to rescue a point against Coventry.
The 18-year-old slammed the ball home from inside the six-yard box after former Sky Blues favourite Darren Huckerby's weaving run.
It was just rewards for the hosts who had dominated the second half.
Jay Tabb gave Coventry the lead just before half-time, picking up a pass from Dele Adebola and firing home his first goal for the club from 12 yards.
Norwich boss Peter Grant:
"I had to name the team after one o'clock on the day of the game because I didn't know who would be fit.
"That's something I've never done before and hope I never have to do again because it makes your preparation difficult.
"In the end, I had to choose a side of players that were fit enough to play rather than the side I would have chosen."
Coventry manager Iain Dowie:
"Overall, it's been a very good week. It was a massive win over Southampton in midweek and this was another good result.
"I'll certainly settle for four points out of six and I've seen enough to realise there are some blocks I can build on.
"Obviously, though, we are still a long way from where we want to be."
