Cardiff City's run without a win stretched to seven games after being held to a stalemate at Leicester City.
Bluebirds striker Michael Chopra missed a golden opportunity to snatch the victory when he failed to connect from six yards out in the closing stages.
Leicester enjoyed the best first-half chances as Iain Hume and Elvis Hammond were denied in quick succession.
And Matty Fryatt's goal was ruled out for offside on 78 minutes after he diverted Alan Maybury's shot home.
Cardiff midfielder Riccardo Scimeca was taken to hospital after coughing up blood at half-time.
606 DEBATE: Give your thoughts on the match
Leicester City boss Rob Kelly:
"Cardiff made it difficult for us. There is no point making excuses - we needed to create a little bit more.
"We tried to force the issue but it just didn't happen for us.
"But we take a number of positives out of the match - it's our second cleansheet on the spin and we didn't get beat."
Cardiff boss Dave Jones:
"If we can keep cleansheets - which we haven't been able to do - it gives you far great chance of winning.
"The game was about us getting back to basics and working hard. On another day we might have gone on to win it.
"But it was always going to be tight. It's a difficult place to come. We are starting to get back to something like the form we showed a few weeks ago."
On Scimeca's injury, Jones said: "He landed on his back after going over the top of one of the Leicester players and he got a bang on the lung.
"We were frightened he might have punctured the lung or broken a rib but we are hopeful he will be given the all-clear and will be straight back in training on Sunday."
