Barry Hayles headed a last-minute equaliser as Plymouth twice came from behind to earn a point at Leicester.
The veteran striker nodded in Tony Capaldi's left-wing cross from inside the six-yard box to salvage a draw.
Leicester took the lead when Iain Hume latched on to a Momo Sylla pass to slot home, but Argyle levelled when Lilian Nalis fired home from Capaldi's cross.
Leicester went ahead again when Levi Porter struck his first senior goal, before Hayles' late intervention.
Leicester boss Rob Kelly on Hayles' equaliser:
"We worked very hard on dead balls in training so it's disappointing.
"We will watch the video of the game tomorrow and then go back to work.
"We knew they would not give up, but thought we had done enough to sneak it, but there are still a lot of positives we can take from the game."
Plymouth boss Ian Holloway after Sylla scored with Matty Fryatt in an offside position:
"These stupid rules really get on my nerves. They had a bloke right up the middle and if that is not offside I don't know what is.
"I don't think the officials know what is going on half the time.
"After that, I would have been devastated if we had come away with anything less than a point."
