Rob Hulse's seventh strike of the season proved decisive as Leeds came from a goal behind to beat Burnley.
The visitors fell behind on the hour to Garreth O'Connor's penalty after Ade Akinbiyi was fouled by Sean Gregan.
Eleven minutes later Leeds drew level when Eddie Lewis curled a wonderful free-kick into the top corner.
Soon after American winger Lewis supplied the cross from the left for the unmarked Hulse to guide a header past Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen.
Burnley boss Steve Cotterill:
"We're a little bit disappointed we didn't get a draw out of it in the end but before that we felt we had enough chances to win the game.
"We did enough to get a draw without a doubt, but we'll take it on the chin.
"If Brian Jensen had six foot arms he might have got to Eddie Lewis'perfect free-kick," added Cotterill.
Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell on Rob Hulse:
"Rob hasn't been able to train with us and he's taken some whacks on the ankles but he put in a real big shift, culminating with the goal.
"I'm delighted with him. Rob didn't train this week," said Blackwell.
"It's been difficult to get him fit and when he does get fit he tends to get a whack on it."
