On-loan Jonathon Douglas struck for Leeds deep into time added-on to rescue a point for Kevin Blackwell's side.

Brighton established a two-goal lead when Leon Knight toe-poked home Richard Carpenter's cross before Sebastien Carole netted with a powerful shot.

Leeds fought back when David Healy steered in from six yards and then smashed home the equaliser.

Brighton unexpectedly regained the lead when Sean Gregan scored an own goal before Douglas' late leveller.
