Wolves scored twice in the last 15 minutes to come back from two goals down and earn a point against Preston.
The visitors went two-nil up as first Chris Lucketti converted David Healy's cross before Healy himself was on hand to lash a second past Paul Jones.
Preston were reduced to ten men when Dickson Etuhu was dismissed for shoving Kenny Miller and Wolves fought back.
First Leon Clarke swept home from Colin Cameron's corner and then Miller levelled with a shot in off the bar.
Wolves boss Dave Jones:
"If people panic and boo players, it isn't going to help.
"We're down to the bare bones and having to dig deep.
"Preston got out of jail a bit at the end because we were the only side who were going to win.
"Their `keeper made some world-class saves. Some of my players were out on their feet at the end but so were Preston's."
Preston boss Craig Brown on Dickson Etuhu's sending off:
"What Dickson did was petulant and unnecessary.
"But he received a dangerous challenge in the first place.
"We had the game comfortably under control but credit to Wolves.
"They could have died because the crowd were a bit against them."
