Former Nottingham Forest player Kenny Burns says he was involved in a row with Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock and Blades striker Dean Windass last Saturday.
Warnock has shrugged off the row
Forest drew 1-1 with United at the City Ground in their first leg semi-final play-off but Burns was incensed at the tactics used by the Blades.
Burns was at the match working for Forest in a corporate capacity and was so angered he was seen arguing with Warnock and Windass as the pair left the field at half-time.
"Warnock's lot were simply trying to kill the game and I just thought I'd let them know how I felt," said Burns.
Warnock gave a hint after the game that there had been some sort of confrontation but shrugged off the episode.
"One or two things were said in the tunnel," said Warnock after the match.
"There was a lot of shouting from ex-players. It was handbags, probably people just trying to get publicity."
