Highlights - Millwall 3-2 Leeds

Millwall continued their pursuit of the Championship play-off spots with a win over fellow promotion chasers Leeds.

James Henry blasted the Lions ahead with a superb free-kick before Liam Trotter's tap-in doubled the lead.

Luciano Becchio pulled one back for Leeds early in the second half, but Steve Morison restored the home side's two goal lead just after the hour.

Andy O'Brien scored deep into injury time for United, but it was too late for them to alter the overall outcome.

Both of these sides have had superb first seasons back in the Championship after gaining promotion from League One last year.

And they could both be heading for another meeting in the play-offs as Leeds' hopes of earning automatic promotion are fading fast.

The opening stages of the match were typically scrappy until Henry lit up the encounter by curling in an excellent free-kick for his fourth goal of the season.

The shell-shocked visitors found themselves two down six minutes later when keeper Kasper Schmeichel failed to deal with Andros Townsend's corner and Trotter was able to flick the ball over the line from a couple of yards out.

However, Becchio gave the away side a lifeline in the 51st minute when he got a toe on to Bradley Johnson's long cross and prodded the ball in.

But the home side grabbed the crucial fourth goal of the match when Morison reacted first after Schmeichel had saved from Henry to dink the ball in.

O'Brien capitalised on some lapse Millwall defending to convert Eric Lichaj's long throw, but there was barely time to restart before the final whistle blew.
