Gulliver has scored one goal for the Steelmen since joining from Oxford
Corby captain Phil Gulliver has said that his side can still improve on their impressive start to the season.
After being promoted from the Southern Premier League last season, the Steelmen currently lie fourth in Blue Square North.
Gulliver told BBC Radio Northampton: "We're unbeaten in six league matches but we still feel like we've dropped a few points in draws.
"We can get higher, but we need to take our chances and turn draws into wins."
Corby have also advanced to semi-finals of the Northamptonshire Hillier Senior Cup. They beat Woodford United 4-2, with striker Jason Lee scoring a hat-trick.
"The league is our focus but obviously winning a cup would be fantastic," added Gulliver.
