Welling United player-manager Jamie Day has told BBC Radio Kent this season is likely to be his last as a player.
Day has been player-manager at Park View Road for two years but says he is looking to "fade himself out" of the first-team squad this season.
"This year I've pencilled in a few games that I think we might need some experience in," Day said.
"But I want to start stepping away from it a bit now and focus on the other side of the game."
Day has only appeared three times for the Wings this season and feels the squad is ready to cope without him.
"I trust the players we've got, they're all good enough players and they all want to play," he said.

"Hopefully we can go on a bit of a run so everyone keeps their places, and then I'm happy to watch.
"The players are good enough, so it's all down to them now."
Welling are currently third in the Blue Square Bet South and take on Dover Athletic in this Saturday.
