Darlington 2-0 Rushden & Diamonds

Darlington extended their unbeaten run to four games following a win against Rushden & Diamonds.

Neither team were able to create many chances in the first half and the side went into the break level.

Tommy Wright put the home side ahead when he got on the end of a Chris Moore cross and fired in.

John Campbell made the points secure late on when he picked the ball 30 yards out from goal and fired into the top corner.


Darlington: Russell, Arnison, Hatch, Miller, Brown, Chandler, Gary Smith, Verma (Terry 57), Bridge-Wilkinson (Campbell 63), Moore, Wright (Modest 88).
