Grimsby 0-1 Darlington

Darlington edged past Grimsby to climb above the Mariners and go eighth in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

The visitors went close through Adam Quinn's header, before Liam Hatch rose to nod Dan Burn's cross past home goalkeeper Kenny Arthur from 10 yards.

The hosts had chances to level the score, as Rob Duffy's overhead kick was saved by Sam Russell and Alan Connell lashed Robert Eagle's cross wide.

Hatch almost got a second, but thumped his shot wide when through on goal.
