Grimsby Town 2-2 Gateshead

Grimsby Town let a two-goal lead slip against Gateshead in front of their prospective new managers.

Rob Scott and Paul Hurst are set to be named as the new bosses and they saw Alan Connell stroke the hosts ahead.

Robert Eagle slotted in from close range to make it 2-0 before Connell saw his penalty saved by Tim Deasy after the keeper felled the striker.

Richard Offiong's shot made it 2-1 and Nathan Fisher's long-range, injury-time effort secured a point.


Grimsby:
