Gloucester City unveils stadium plans

Gloucester City Supporters' Club chairman Phil Warren says a potential move back to a newly refurbished Meadow Park would be a dream come true.

The Tigers have been without a home since 2007 when their ground was severely damaged by floods.

Plans were unveiled on Tuesday for a new stadium on the same site.

Warren told BBC Radio Gloucester: "A lot of the fans view Meadow Park as symbolic. They've missed the old ground like billy-o, they dream of returning."

The Blue Square Bet North side are currently playing their home games at Cheltenham Town's Whaddon Road.

The plans will be formally submitted to the council next week.
