Chelmsford City have signed striker Ali Chaaban from Boreham Wood and midfielder Jordan Sanderson from League One Colchester United.
Former Bromley and Staines striker Chaaban, 28, has joined until the end of the season.
Sanderson, 18, has joined the Blue Square Bet South side from the U's on work experience.
The pair replace Sam Higgins and Stephen Reed, who were recently released by the Melbourne Park club.
Chelmsford hope both players will be available for Monday's home league clash with Boreham Wood.
The Clarets can move to within six points of leaders Braintree Town with a win.
