Rushden & D'mnds 2-1 Cambridge

Managerless Cambridge United suffered their fifth defeat in a row at the hands of Rushden & Diamonds.

The visitors took an early lead through Danny Wright, who collected Josh Coulson's pass and crashed a shot into the bottom corner of the net.

Rushden levelled after Jamie Day beat his man and swung in a cross for Sam Smith to volley home.

The home side grabbed all three points in the final minute, Craig Farrell heading in a Ryan Charles cross.
