York City 2-1 Forest Green

Levi Mackin's first goal of the season secured all three points for York against struggling Forest Green.

Jamie Reed opened the scoring when he latched on to Ashley Chambers' rebounded effort for an easy finish.

Rovers equalised when substitute Reece Styche converted a penalty after he had been brought down by James Meredith.

But Mackin sealed a late win with a fine drilled effort into the corner to leave Forest Green only one point off the relegation zone.
