Altrincham 1-1 Grays Athletic

Blue Square Premier

Grays Athletic's winless run was extended to 13 matches but they still battled to earn a point at Moss Lane.

Struggling Grays looked like ending their barren run when Alsseny Cissoko converted Wayne Gray's left-wing cross.

But top scorer Chris Senior rescued Alty against the run of play, linking up with Nicky Clee to tuck away his 14th league goal of the season.

Grays had midfielder Harlee Dean sent off in injury time after picking up his second yellow card.

Alty's failure to win drops them a place in the Blue Square Premier table, still 10 points shy of the play-offs.

But they did little to test Grays keeper Glyn Garner on his debut, Chris Denham and Clee forcing his only worthwhile saves.

And Grays had already gone close before they went ahead when Duran Reynolds hit the bar.
